Telephone counselling is very convenient and can be used as an additional avenue of support and part of my easier access to therapy services.
It is also extremely useful for those who are unable or prefer not to attend face to face counselling or psychotherapy.
Many of my clients use a combination of face to face as well as telephone counselling, say when they are working away, on holiday or when it is simply more convenient for them. But many people are quite happy using telephone counselling exclusively.
Hearing a voice can feel more personal and connected to you compared to text counselling.
